Matt

Matthew Leider is the managing partner of Manganelli, Leider & Savio, P.A. Matthew focuses his practice on lender-related residential and commercial foreclosure litigation, commercial litigation, and loss mitigation/loan workouts. He has experience handling matters involving creditor’s rights, real estate and title issues, and consumer finance litigation.

Matthew was admitted to practice in 2010 after graduating from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in Davie, Florida. Prior to obtaining his juris doctorate, Matthew attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies. He has been licensed to practice in the State of Florida since 2010 and was admitted to practice in federal court in the Southern District of Florida in 2012.

Matthew has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyer’s Magazine consistently since 2017, which is an annual publication that recognizes the top 2.5% of the state’s young lawyers. As of 2020, Matthew is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.

Melisa

Melisa Manganelli is a partner of Manganelli, Leider & Savio, P.A.  Melisa represents mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors concerning creditor’s rights.  She focuses her practice on the prosecution of residential and commercial foreclosure cases from case filing to post-judgment, including assistance in the pursuit of loss mitigation options, as well as the handling of appeals.  In addition to conducting numerous trials and evidentiary hearings in circuit courts throughout the State of Florida, Melisa has also handled oral arguments before Florida’s Second and Third District Courts of Appeal.

Melisa earned her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law in Hempstead, New York.  She was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1997, and in Florida in 2002.  She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey, as well as in the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.

Christian

Christian Savio is a partner in the firm focusing his practice in the areas of real estate, title, and bankruptcy. Christian is a former in-house litigation counsel to the largest title insurance underwriter, Fidelity National Title. Christian’s diverse background in litigating a variety of areas such as title litigation, bankruptcy disputes, real estate and commercial litigation provides him the experience and knowledge to manage all aspects involving creditor’s rights in the foreclosure arena. Christian is a proven trial litigator having received several high six figure jury verdicts and seven figure settlements for his clients.

Christian has been named a “Rising Star” in both bankruptcy and business litigation areas for the past six years in a row (2014-2020) by Florida Super Lawyers magazine – an annual publication that recognizes the top 2.5% of the state young lawyers.

Christian is also a title agent and handles all the firm’s closings and is admitted to practice in all Federal, Bankruptcy and State Courts in Florida.

Dan (Retired)

Daniel Mandel’s legal career spans 4 decades commencing in 1981.  After graduating from the University of Miami School of Law, he worked for Bamman & Bowman which was a small boutique law firm in Broward County.  Shortly thereafter, he started his own firm in Ft. Lauderdale in 1983 (Mandel, Weisman & Brodie, P.A.) and a successor firm in 2006 though the present which is currently Manganelli, Leider & Savio, P.A., of which he is the founding partner. Manganelli, Leider & Savio, P.A. is the successor to Mandel, Manganelli & Leider, P.A.

During his practice, he specialized in the field of creditor’s rights.  Over the years he has represented many lenders, servicing agents, management companies and other clients in their collection and creditor needs.  In the 1980s and 1990s, he was a principal owner of 8 title insurance agencies including 4 InterState Title offices and 4 Stewart Title offices in south Florida.  Over his 39 year career, Dan has tried hundreds of cases in the state and federal courts.  He has multiple reported opinions from the various district courts of appeal.   He is admitted to practice in all state courts throughout Florida, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

From 1989 to 1995, Dan was on the faculty of Barry University Legal Assistant Program in Ft. Lauderdale teaching Real Estate and Real Estate Finance courses.  Over the years, Dan as been the managing partner of his law firms and overseen the administration of the practices in all respects.  He has been the guest speaker at various seminars and public industry engagements discussing various topics related to his field of expertise.  He has testified as an expert witness in over 10 cases throughout his career in the state courts on bankruptcy and real estate title issues.  He is an AV rated attorney through the Martindale-Hubbell rating service and has an exemplary career representing his long list of clients through the years.
